Patrick O'Callaghan comes from a long line of people who showed up. His ancestors arrived nearby in this part of Columbus generations ago and found, to their pleasant surprise, that the gnomes of German Village were welcoming company. That relationship has continued ever since.

Patrick takes his role as neighborhood guardian seriously but wears it lightly. He believes that most of what makes a community work isn't grand or dramatic — it's just people choosing to be decent to each other, day after day. He keeps an eye on things from S.
